Scorpius Dance Theatre – catwalk

 

 

For me, inspiration comes from many places.  Nature and art seem to have the greatest influence, but increasingly the performing arts such as music and dance spark little ideas that sit in the back of my mind and hopefully will one day materialize into a beautiful jacket to add to the Collection.

The current performance by Scorpius Dance Theatre at the Phoenix Little Theatre is that kind of inspiration.  Their production of “catwalk  DANCE + FASHION = RUNWAY ATTITUDE” combined contemporary dance with costumes created by local designers to give the audience  a very fun and entertaining “out of the box” runway show.  Thank you to  the very talented, hip and gorgeous Kira Hasher of Fashion Phoenix fame for inviting me to attend.
