Dancing Jackets on Vine
This is the cute little logo for the Vine app. The “V” and little squiggle represent what Vine is all about – looping video. Actually Vine is a little more – it’s fun “stop action” looping video . After a little research, I downloaded it for my iPhone then decided to test it out on one of my Cici Bianca Jackets to see how it worked.
This jacket is named Asian Spice and was the first one I shot. You only have 6 seconds of video but of course arranging is what takes all the time.
I was rather taken with my first attempt and decided I would do a small series of “Dancing Jackets” so here is Teal Nubs.
Cherry Wood was my third jacket and by this time I realized I needed a plan so that when I arranged each jacket they would all have different “moves”.
When I reviewed the “Vine” I had created with this jacket, Persian Green, I realized my lighting was really, really bad and it looked so very dark. In fact all of them were looking dark. Ultimately I decided not to worry about it – this is only for fun.
All and all this only took a little over an hour to film, Certainly I learned something new but will I mess around with it again? I kind of doubt it. My final jacket is Walnut and it takes a little bow at the end.
